CodeDesigner is a free open-source RAD tool that will help you create various diagrams describing app' structure and logic as well as to generate production-ready source code from them.

The program allows you to create UML diagrams, simple state diagrams and hierarchical state diagrams.

It supports ANSI C, C++ and Python languages. If you add enough details, the program can create the code for the application out of the diagram.

It is a free alternative to commercial tools like Enterprise Architect or IAR VisualState.
